Since 1925, the Point Breeze Volunteer Fire Association, located at 1002 Center Avenue, has proudly served the residents of Penn Hills, Verona, and areas included in the East Boros mutual aid agreement. Penn Hills #4 offers a variety of services such as fire suppression, hazardous materials response in collaboration with Haz-Mat Team 440, and, since 2010, quick response services for Penn Hills EMS.
The department holds weekly meetings and drills every Monday evening to ensure that its members are well-equipped with the most up-to-date fire training and information. This regular training helps maintain a high level of readiness and expertise among the volunteers.
Penn Hills #4 is always on the lookout for dedicated individuals who are interested in joining our VOLUNTEER fire association. The department depends heavily on public donations and fundraising activities to acquire and maintain the equipment necessary to effectively protect and serve the area. By supporting Penn Hills #4, you contribute to the safety and resilience of our region.
We stay focused on our goals, optimizing our chances of success and ensuring our efforts are worthwhile. We make certain we’ve given our all and allowed adequate time to finish the job before stepping away, always prioritizing the safety of our community.
We are committed to being ready, day and night, to respond to emergencies and serve our community with vigilance and preparedness. Our dedication to readiness ensures that we can provide swift and effective assistance whenever needed, safeguarding both lives and property.
